According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, through monitoring data from the beginning of the year until now, the number of cases of pink eye has increased compared to the same period in 2022. Pink eye can be caused by many reasons, the most worrying of which is the virus (commonly Adenovirus) because it can spread in the community.

To proactively prevent pink eye in industrial parks, export processing zones, and high-tech zones, contributing to protecting workers' health and limiting the spread in the community. The Department of Health requests heads of agencies and units to direct the implementation of activities to prevent pink eye in the workplace. Specifically:

Wash your hands regularly with soap and use clean water in daily activities; do not rub your eyes, nose, or mouth.

Do not share personal items such as: eye drops, towels, glasses, masks; clean eyes, nose, and throat daily with saline solution and regular eye drops and nose drops.

Use soap or common disinfectants to disinfect the patient's belongings and items; limit contact with people who have or are suspected of having pink eye. Patients or people suspected of having pink eye should limit contact with others.

When you detect symptoms such as: mild fever with fatigue, sore throat, sticky eyelids, difficulty opening eyes, swollen lymph nodes in front or under the jaw..., you need to go to a medical facility for examination, consultation, and timely treatment. Note, do not self-treat without the guidance of medical staff to avoid serious complications, follow the doctor's instructions,
