(GLO)- The domestic gold market on August 12 remained stable after a sharp decline yesterday. Currently, businesses are trading two-way buying and selling at 122.7-123.9 million VND/VND. Meanwhile, the price of gold rings decreased slightly.

This morning, SJC, DOJI , Bao Tin Minh Chau, PNJ listed the gold bar price at 122.7-123.9 million VND/tael. Mi Hong listed the afternoon buying price at 123 million VND/tael. Phu Quy is trading the buying price at 121.9 million VND/tael.

This morning, the price of gold rings recorded a decrease depending on each business. Bao Tin Minh Chau is currently trading at 117-120 million VND/tael, Mi Hong is trading at 117.5-119 million VND/tael. SJC is listed at 116.5-119 million VND/tael; PNJ also listed the two-way buying-selling price at 116.8-119.3 million VND/tael.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 9:30 a.m. on August 12, Vietnam time, was 3,351.06 USD/ounce, down 45.52 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,400 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 110.04 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 13.86 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
