Attending the festival were representatives from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, representatives from the leadership of Ea Tul, Ea M'Droh, and Quang Phu communes; committees, organizations, and people from 24 villages and hamlets in Ea Kiet commune.

In his opening remarks at the festival, Mr. Vo Sy Tung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Kiet commune, said: Ea Kiet is a locality where many ethnic groups live together; each ethnic group possesses unique traditional cultural characteristics, creating a diverse and rich cultural landscape. The festival is an opportunity for all people to interact, meet, and strengthen solidarity; to honor and preserve the beautiful traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups; and to contribute to building a healthier, more progressive, civilized, and compassionate grassroots cultural life.

Within the framework of the festival, people of Ea Kiet commune participated in folk games such as tug-of-war, stilt walking, blindfolded pot smashing, sack racing, and rice pounding; participated in the folk art festival and performances of traditional musical instruments; competed in traditional costume shows, traditional food and wine competitions, introduced local products through online livestreaming, and displayed booths showcasing local specialties…

Besides cultural, artistic, sports, and folk games, people in the villages and hamlets also participate in a theatrical competition to learn about laws related to ethnic affairs. This is a propaganda activity that helps raise awareness and compliance with the law among the people, contributing to building a stable security and order in Ea Kiet commune.
On this occasion, 16 agencies and units, along with 11 villages and hamlets of ethnic minorities in the commune, also organized fraternal ties to strengthen information exchange and improve the effectiveness of work between local units.

The Ethnic Culture Festival of Ethnic Groups in Ea Kiet Commune - Celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse, combined with the dissemination and education of law in 2025, took place in a joyful and united atmosphere; attracting a large number of athletes, performers, and spectators from villages and hamlets in the area to participate in competitions, watch, and cheer, leaving many positive impressions.
This is also an opportunity for people of different ethnic groups in the commune to interact, preserve and promote traditional cultural values, thereby building Ea Kiet commune into a stable and sustainable developing community.
