Excitement reigns at the 1st Youth Informatics Competition in 2026.

On May 31st, at Tay Nguyen University, the Provincial Youth Union organized the final round of the 1st Young Informatics Competition in 2026.

This year's competition attracted 430 contestants from primary, secondary, and high schools throughout the province, competing in categories A (Primary School), B (Secondary School), C1 (Specialized High School), and C2 (Non-Specialized High School).

Following the qualifying rounds, the organizing committee selected 161 outstanding contestants, chosen from the regional qualifying rounds in the East and West of the province, to advance to the final round.

In the final round, contestants participate in programming skills competitions corresponding to their respective categories.

The organizers awarded first and second prizes to the contestants in category A.

According to the organizers, the competition took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, with contestants demonstrating a serious and confident competitive spirit, applying their knowledge and information technology skills to solve the requirements of the exam.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the contestants with outstanding achievements in each category. In category A, the first prize went to Le Nguyen Khang (Tran Phu Primary School, Hoa Xuan commune).

First prize was awarded to Chau Pham Gia Han.
Provincial Youth Union Secretary Luong Minh Tung presents the first prize in Group B to Chau Pham Gia Han.

In Group B, the first prize was awarded to Chau Pham Gia Han (Nguyen The Bao Secondary School, Phu Hoa 1 commune).

First prize in category C1 was awarded to contestants Hoang Dinh Hai Vuong and Phan Minh Chau (Nguyen Du Specialized High School, Tan An ward) and first prize in category C2 went to Dang Ky Anh (Le Loi High School, Dong Xuan commune).

The organizers also awarded second, third, and consolation prizes to 33 contestants in the various competition categories.

The competition is organized to create an intellectual, healthy, and beneficial playground for young people who love information technology; and at the same time, to discover and nurture students with outstanding talents in the field of informatics to continue participating in regional and national competitions.
