After the impact of storm No. 10, many localities in Nghe An province fell into a state of prolonged power outage. In Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the power system was severely damaged, a series of medium and low voltage power poles were broken, causing widespread power outages. Without electricity, all daily activities were disrupted.

Ms. Tran Thi Dung in Nam My hamlet, Kim Lien commune said that in recent days, the power outage has made life very difficult for her family and neighbors in the hamlet. Children cannot study, there is no light to read books or do homework. Elderly people cannot sleep well at night due to the heat, and their health is affected. Without electricity at home, all activities have been disrupted, from cooking to food preservation. We hope that the electricity industry will soon fix the problem and restore power so that people can stabilize their lives.

Faced with the difficulties that people are facing, the electricity industry has been working hard every day to fix the problem and bring electricity back to the people.

Mr. Vo Viet Hao, a worker of the Nam Dan Power Management Team, said that in the past few days, his team members had to work hard to repair the damaged power system due to the storm. The workload was huge, with broken power lines, broken poles, and many areas deeply flooded, making travel difficult. They ate and drank at the scene, and rested little by little. But with a high sense of responsibility, the power workers were determined to work day and night, despite the harsh weather, hoping to restore power soon so that people could stabilize their lives.

According to statistics, storm No. 10 has broken and damaged nearly 4,000 electric poles of all kinds, more than 80 km of electric wires, and damaged 8 low-voltage stations. In the face of such heavy losses, the Northern Power Corporation has sent more than 700 officers and workers, divided into 12 shock teams from many provinces and cities with full means, tools, equipment, cranes and specialized equipment.

Mr. Vu Duy Tu, a worker of the Repair Team, Ninh Binh Power Company, who was sent to Nghe An to support, said that since last Monday, his team members have been sent to Nghe An to support the restoration of the power grid after the impact of the storm. As soon as they received the task, the electricity workers determined to work urgently and responsibly, with the goal of completing the task as soon as possible so that people could have electricity again and stabilize their lives. Despite many difficulties such as erratic weather, many areas with fallen trees, broken power poles, damaged power lines, they had to walk for kilometers, carrying heavy equipment to reach the scene. Although it was hard, seeing people happy when electricity was restored, all efforts were worth it.

Mr. Pham Van Nga, Deputy Director of Nghe An Electricity Company, said that after the impact of storm No. 10, the work of restoring the power grid in the province encountered many difficulties. Many areas were deeply flooded, trees were fallen, electric poles were broken, and power lines were severely damaged. In particular, some workers had to stay at home to prevent floods and take care of their families, so there was a serious shortage of skilled workers. Meanwhile, the weather was also unfavorable, with prolonged intense heat making construction work on site even more difficult.

However, with a high sense of responsibility, all officers and workers of Nghe An electricity industry are trying their best, working continuously day and night to fix the problem and bring electricity back to the people.

Up to now, Nghe An Electricity Company has restored about 88% of the power system in the whole province. For the remaining 12% of the work, the unit is determined to complete it by October 7 at the latest, to promptly turn on the power to ensure that people have electricity again. This is an urgent task, not only serving daily life but also ensuring safety and stability for production and socio -economic activities in the area.

Despite many difficulties, with timely support from the electricity industry and the consensus of the people, the electricity system in Nghe An is gradually being restored. People believe that, with a high sense of responsibility and determination, the electricity industry will soon bring light back to every home.
