In Cho Ra commune, prolonged heavy rains caused landslides on the slopes of about 25 houses, inundating over 85 hectares of rice and crops; many inter-village roads were flooded with rocks and soil, disrupting traffic. Some households living on the hillsides at high risk of landslides were mobilized by local authorities to move to safety.

Water rose at the spillway in Leng market area, Dong Phuc commune, local authorities warned and temporarily banned people and vehicles from traveling to ensure safety. |
The rising river water has isolated the Na Ri Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Na Ri Commune. Currently, more than 270 students are still on campus. Teachers have guided them to move to the second and third floors to ensure safety; food has been supplied, enough for today. Previously, the flood water rose rapidly, causing the only road into the school to be deeply submerged, the current was strong, making it difficult to access and provide support.
Faced with the above situation, local authorities have proactively deployed the "four on-site" plan, mobilizing the Army, Police, militia, and youth union members to help people move people and property to safety, clear the flow, and clean up mud.
The Commune Disaster Prevention Committees have organized inspections, warned of landslide risks, and posted warning signs at dangerous locations; and have also developed plans to ensure the safety of students at low-lying schools. Some schools have proactively allowed students to take time off from school to ensure their safety.

Currently, the risk of landslides is still high. The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue and localities are continuing to closely monitor the development of natural disasters, not allowing people to pass through deeply flooded and landslide areas; specialized agencies of communes are continuing to count and review the damage to crops and people's property to have support plans.
