In the parade at Ba Dinh Square starting at 6:30 a.m. on September 2, the cultural and sports sector marched last. These are people directly involved in the cause of preserving and promoting national cultural identity and improving the spiritual life of the people. They are outstanding cadres, civil servants, public employees, coaches, artists, actors, and athletes - those who have been and are persistently contributing to the cause of developing the country's culture and sports.

Pride of artists
From the early morning of September 2, hundreds of artists were present on Quan Thanh Street, preparing for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
In particular, the cultural and sports sector has the participation of about 200 delegates, including many familiar artists from both the North and the South. This is a force that brings together many famous faces, spanning from traditional to modern art forms.
In the film industry, we can mention the artist couple Lan Huong-Do Ky, actors Le Khanh, Lan Huong (film Em Be Ha Noi ), Tu Oanh, Luong Thu Trang, Thanh Son, Viet Hoa, Thu Quynh, Huynh Lap, Quoc Toan... Music includes Den Vau, Hoang Thuy Linh, Tang Duy Tan, Tuan Cry, Trang Phap, Truong Quynh Anh... The film crew of Red Rain also participated with actors Do Nhat Hoang (as Cuong), Dinh Khang (Tu), Hoang Long (Sen), Phuong Nam (squad leader Ta)...
Expressing her emotions when representing artists to participate in the parade in the country's important event, People's Artist Huong Thom, former Deputy Director of the Vietnam Tuong Theater, shared: "40 years ago, we participated in the parade, and over the years we have participated in many important events of the country. But this time, in the heroic atmosphere of the nation, witnessing the warm feelings of the people, we feel more moved and proud than ever."
Artist Huong Thom said that despite the difficult training process and unpredictable weather, all artists always tried their best to join the team of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to leave a deep impression on audiences nationwide.
Actress Tu Oanh, Youth Theatre, although retired, still enthusiastically participates in training. Many days and months under the hot sun did not dampen the will of the female artist and her colleagues in the cultural and sports sector.
Actress Tu Oanh was moved: “Today, in the joyful atmosphere of the nation, Oanh and everyone just hope that the best things will come to everyone. Being able to participate in the parade, receiving the cheers and encouragement of the people is a great happiness. That feeling is difficult to fully express in words, only when directly shaking hands and interacting with the people can we fully feel it.”

In the cultural and sports sector, there were also many young and famous artists. Singer Hoang Thuy Linh shared that to participate in this special event, she put aside all her work: “To be able to contribute a small part to the great joy of the country is a great honor. Linh is honored, proud, grateful and feels very small, wants to improve herself more to continue to contribute”.
To her, the ceremony is a living proof of national unity, patriotism and pride spreading in every step.
Rapper Den Vau also joined the group. He simply expressed: "Happy to be a citizen of my homeland."
Singer Tang Duy Tan even canceled all his performances from August 26 to September 1 to focus on practicing: “Although it is hard, being in the parade is an honor that not everyone can have. Not only me but my whole family is very proud.”
He said that it was the heroic atmosphere during the practice and rehearsal days that inspired him to compose about his homeland and country, especially Quang Tri and the central region.
"I will never forget the feeling of marching through Ba Dinh Square for the rest of my life," Duy Tan emotionally shared.

Actress Lan Huong - “Little Hanoi”, after her classic role in the 1974 film of the same name, now returns to the parade, sharing: “To have the peace today, so much blood has been shed. I am always deeply grateful for the sacrifices of the previous generation”.
Ms. Lan Huong emphasized that the spirit of patriotism spreading these days helps people overcome daily differences and join hands to honor the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country. When passing by Uncle Ho's Mausoleum and witnessing the embrace of the people, she could not hide her intense emotions.

Strive to overcome difficulties, send all love to the Fatherland
Sharing the same sentiment, many artists in the cultural and sports sector said that each day of practice was a challenge. Some were old, some had old-age diseases, but all put aside their personal work and family to focus on the important event of the country.
“To be able to participate in a parade on a major holiday, to walk in the arms of support and cheers of the people is truly wonderful. If we only use words, we cannot fully express this happiness. Only when we directly join the crowd, hug, shake hands, and see the bright smiles of our compatriots, can that feeling fully exist,” an artist shared.

The image of artists, actors, and athletes wearing neat uniforms, marching in unison in the parade is not only a source of pride for the cultural and artistic community, but also a testament to the spirit of solidarity and dedication to the Fatherland. In their eyes shines the love for the country, national pride, and is put into every step they take through the historic Ba Dinh Square.
Many famous artists appearing in the cultural and sports sector have left a strong impression, contributing to the great success of the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the country. For them, walking among the people, singing together the heroic song of the Fatherland on National Day, is one of the most sacred and unforgettable moments in the artist's life.
