Cooperation in supplying petrochemical products and technical services

DNVN - Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) and Petrolimex Petrochemical Corporation (PLC) have signed a cooperation agreement, opening up opportunities to enhance coordination and supply of petrochemical products, chemicals and technical services.

According to the agreement, the cooperation contents focus on enhancing coordination, providing petrochemical products, chemicals and technical services. At the same time, the two sides also coordinate in product research and development, cooperate in producing new petrochemical products, and exploit infrastructure systems on the basis of promoting the capacity and advantages of both sides.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Do Huu Tao - Chairman of PLC's Board of Directors affirmed that the cooperation agreement is an important step to bring the relationship between BSR and PLC to a new level, creating a foundation for many potential cooperation opportunities in the future. Accompanying and utilizing the strengths of each side not only aims at comprehensive and sustainable development but also contributes to realizing the policy of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" of the Party and State.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of BSR emphasized that today's agreement does not only stop at the commitment to cooperation, but also is an important mark affirming the spirit of companionship and development based on the principle of mutual benefit. BSR's ecosystem currently has an oil refinery, petrochemical, biofuel and the company is gradually shifting to the production of green energy, chemicals and products serving the sustainable development of the country. To realize this strategy, BSR really needs the companionship of partners, including PLC, to share experiences, research and develop new products.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang also proposed that the two sides should soon specify the contents of the signed agreement, clearly assign responsibilities to relevant departments, and maintain regular communication channels to promptly resolve difficulties, ensuring the agreement goes into practice and achieves the highest efficiency.
