Pleiku lights up the night of September 2 with a special art program

On the evening of September 2, at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai Province, the special art program "The Sea and Sky Meet, the Essence Shines" took place in a solemn, heroic and emotional atmosphere, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The program opens with a harmony of mountains and rivers.

The program was organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, bringing together hundreds of professional and non-professional artists, folk artists, students and the TRE Dance Group to perform.

With the participation of famous names such as People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, singer To Loan, MTV group... and profound commentary by People's Artist Le Chuc, the program recreated the development journey of Gia Lai from its thousand-year-old cultural source to its aspiration to reach out to the world .

The opening performance “The Harmony of Mountains and Rivers” is a special artistic highlight, recreating the cultural process from prehistoric times, Champa culture, the period of nation building and defense to the contemporary period.

Honoring the traditional, historical, cultural values ​​and sustainable roots of Gia Lai province.

Music by People's Artist Huynh Tu, choreography by Meritorious Artists Hoang Thanh and Thanh Nhan combined with modern 3D Mapping projection technology created an artistic space that is both ancient and modern. From the sound of the great gong to the Apsara dance, from the Tay Son battle drum to the Central Highlands' xoang dance, all blend into a unique cultural identity, expressing the exchange between the two lands of Gia Lai and Binh Dinh (old).

The following performances such as “Thênh thiênh Oong Ơi”, “Chuong Gió”, “Vietnam trong tôi là”, “Hảo khí Việt Nam” brought deep, hearty and proud emotions. Newly arranged music, drums, xoang dance, martial arts and traditional costumes stirred up the atmosphere, encouraging the audience to join in their faith and aspirations.

Crowds of people and tourists flocked to the Square to enjoy the music festival.

The introduction of the two MCs is like an inspiring manifesto: Gia Lai today, with the power of connecting from east to west, is ready to take off and carries within it the desire for trade, the desire for connection, the desire to reach new horizons.

The program ended with a brilliant fireworks display to the music "As if Uncle Ho was here on the day of great victory" as a tribute to history, while also lighting up the belief in a strong Gia Lai, integrated and reaching out to the world.
