The program opened with a stage lit up with performances recreating the years of steadfast struggle. Songs with traditional revolutionary melodies, such as: “The Road We Take”, “Unification Song”, “Melody of the Fatherland”, “The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh”, “Wishing to be a Vietnamese”, “Continuing the Story of Peace ”, “Vietnam Proudly Steps Forward to the Future”… combined with dance performances recreating the heroic spirit of the nation, revived historical memories, paying tribute to those who sacrificed for the freedom of the Fatherland and homeland.

Next are performances recreating the ancient beauty of the ancient capital such as: "Sea - land and sky", "Come back and listen to me sing in the ancient capital", "Green color of love". The royal dances and sweet Hue songs resound in the ancient space in the heart of Hue heritage, bringing the audience back to a quiet, poetic ancient Hue.
The art program recreated the vibrant atmosphere of a modern, youthful and developing Hue with performances such as: "The country rises", hip hop dance "Green Hue Melody", "Hue's Aspiration to Fly Up"... The art performances combined traditional and modern, songs with contemporary sounds portrayed a dynamic Hue but still kept the old soul.

Locals and tourists are both moved and moved, both remembering the past and eagerly looking forward to a bright future of Hue that is growing.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tho, an audience member of the program, said: “The performances in the program used artistic language to tell the story of a heroic and steadfast Hue during the resistance war, but also very poetic and profound in peacetime. The combination of sound, light, documentary images and performing arts helped the audience have a more comprehensive view of the glorious journey of the past 80 years of Hue city.”

The National Day art program ended with a high-altitude fireworks display with 1,000 fireworks, creating an impressive moment for Hue audiences and domestic and foreign tourists. The art night combined with the fireworks display that lit up the vast space of Ngo Mon - Hue Flag Tower brought pride and aroused love for the homeland in the hearts of every tourist and resident of the Ancient Capital.
