Nearly 1,580 billion VND in social policy credit loans

Accumulated in the first 7 months of 2025, loan turnover from social policy credit programs in Thai Nguyen province reached nearly 1,580 billion VND, with more than 24,000 customers accessing capital.

Policy credit capital has helped many poor and near-poor households and other policy subjects to develop their economy .

Among them, many programs have achieved high disbursement rates, typically: Loans for job creation, job maintenance and expansion with loan turnover reaching over 458 billion VND; loans for renovation of clean water and rural environmental sanitation works reaching over 520 billion VND; loans to support production and business in difficult areas over 137 billion VND...

Up to now, the total outstanding debt from social policy credit programs in the area has reached more than VND 8,915 billion, with over 167 customers still having outstanding debt.

Policy credit capital has become an important “midwife” for many poor and near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries, helping them to develop their economy, thousands of workers to have new jobs or maintain their jobs, improving their quality of life. Thereby, it contributes significantly to poverty reduction, environmental improvement, new rural construction and creating sustainable livelihoods for people.
