The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from last night until tonight, December 4, the weather in the area from southern Quang Tri to Da Nang City, and eastern Quang Ngai will have moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall of 70-150mm, and in some places over 150mm.

In the eastern region from Gia Lai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces, there will be moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall of 40-90mm, and in some places 150mm. There is a risk of rain intensity greater than 100mm/3 hours.

Heavy rain in the above areas tomorrow tends to decrease.

In the North, since yesterday afternoon, the cold air has continued to affect other places in the Northeast and North Central regions, then affect the Northwest and the north of the Central Central region. On land, strong northeast winds of level 2-3, coastal areas of level 3-4.

The lowest temperature in the North and North Central regions is 15-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is 13-15 degrees Celsius, and in some places it is below 12 degrees Celsius.

Weather in the South, Ho Chi Minh City: Cloudy to mostly cloudy, sometimes less cloudy during the day, intermittent sunshine. In the evening, scattered showers, some places have moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

In addition, water levels at stations on the Saigon River continue to rise following the full moon tide of the tenth lunar month and remain high in the coming days. Rain and high tides may cause deep flooding in low-lying areas and along the river.
