Chinese enterprise proposes to build large-scale motor vehicle manufacturing complex in Thai Nguyen

On the afternoon of December 3, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, received and worked with leaders of DUYLINK Investment Joint Stock Company and investors from Hong Kong and Taiwan (China), led by Mr. Yang Chao Xiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chengling Automobile Manufacturing Company and Zhaoling Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Company.

At the meeting, business representatives introduced an overview of their capacity and experience in the field of manufacturing automobiles, electric motorbikes, trucks, dump trucks, tractors and specialized vehicles.

Investors assessed Thai Nguyen as a locality with a strategic location, good industrial infrastructure and a favorable investment environment for project research and development. Participating in the delegation were representatives of a securities company from Hong Kong, responsible for financial strategy consulting, market analysis, supporting businesses in evaluating and developing investment plans in Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his pleasure to welcome the business delegation to survey and learn about investment opportunities in Thai Nguyen; at the same time, he highly appreciated the spirit of cooperation, professionalism and goodwill of Chinese enterprises.

He affirmed that Thai Nguyen always considers the success of investors as the success of the province, commits to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of procedures and time for processing documents, and at the same time fully supports survey activities and project implementation.

According to information from the investor, this December, the enterprise will conduct a survey and propose a project to build a complex of factories producing electric motorbikes, trucks, dump trucks, tractors, and specialized vehicles in Thai Nguyen, with an estimated initial investment scale of about 500 million USD, a land fund requirement of about 140 hectares, and plans to continue expanding in the following phases.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that Thai Nguyen is prioritizing attracting large-scale industrial projects, using modern technology, with high added value, in line with the province's development orientation. In addition to the fields that businesses are interested in, the province is ready to open up more cooperation opportunities in related industries, in order to form a synchronous and sustainable production ecosystem in the area.
