Speaking at the "Russia Calling!" forum, Mr. Putin reiterated the foundation of friendship and long-standing strategic partnership between Russia and the two Asian countries. He said that most partners, with a "rational and pragmatic" approach, want to deepen cooperation with Moscow. According to the Russian leader, emphasizing the technological direction will help the trilateral relationship develop at a "more advanced" level and create a qualitative upgrade.

" I know that there are many representatives of the Chinese and Indian delegations present here today. I would like to emphasize our aim to take our cooperation with the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India to a new level of quality by enhancing the technological component," he said.
The statement builds on the economic foundations that have been strengthened in recent years, with trade between Russia and its two Asian partners growing sharply. According to Mr. Putin, many joint projects are underway in key areas such as energy, industry, space, agriculture and a number of other sectors.
To advance its technological goals, Moscow is taking high-level diplomatic steps. President Putin said Russia has maintained extensive talks with the leaders of China and India on these topics.
“ We have established a substantive dialogue with Chinese President Xi Jinping on economic issues, and we will also discuss these topics in detail during my upcoming visit to India with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he stressed.
According to observers, the above statements show that technology is becoming a new pillar in Russia's foreign policy towards the two Asian powers, paving the way for deeper cooperation in the future.
