This is one of the performances by Vietnamese artists at the Cultural Festival "Vietnam - Colors from the Tropics" - an event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation in coordination with the Moscow City government to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Through the performances, in the program, the artists introduced to the audience the special beauty of the country, people, and culture of Vietnam, from the majestic mountains to the poetic plains. With the language of music , with the sounds of traditional instruments such as the T'rung, the Bau, the bamboo flute, the Vietnamese Klong-put; lullabies, melodies, and many famous songs, the artists "told stories" about their country with all their hearts, warm feelings, and the hospitality of the Oriental people.
During the festival (from July 25 to August 3), Vietnamese artists performed many shows every day for the audience at Red Square. In addition to traditional music programs, there were also puppet shows and water puppet shows. The artists told stories about their country through music, with warm feelings and Eastern hospitality. Vietnamese singers sang together famous songs of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

In particular, for the first time, a Thuy Dinh tank was built in Red Square to bring the art of water puppetry to the Russian public. The program is a delicate combination of traditional water puppetry and modernized dry puppetry, introducing to the audience typical, joyful, and lively images of the Vietnamese countryside - where boys herd buffaloes, farmers plow, where flutes sound in the rice fields and the bustling Vietnamese music space. The performances are newly and creatively staged with lively folk music, colorful costumes and skillful performing techniques - both preserving the folk soul and finding the spirit of the times.
It is known that within the framework of the Cultural Festival "Vietnam - Colors from the Tropics", there are also many attractive cultural and artistic activities at Red Square. The program introducing Vietnamese cuisine "The taste of Com: The quintessence of Hanoi, the soul of the Red River" introduces Hanoi Com and how to make Com products hosted by Artisan Anh Tuyet. The program introducing and performing Vietnamese Ao Dai "Hanoi 12 seasons of flowers".

The festival also features a program introducing and displaying Vietnamese lacquer products “Vuon Son - Tropical Colors”. Each product is displayed as a dialogue between heritage and the present – expressing the desire to bring national culture to the world, in a new and emotional visual language. The photo exhibition space: “Vietnam - Country, People” displays a collection of 40 photos by contemporary Vietnamese photographers.
In addition to the main activities, the festival also has an interactive space for traditional Vietnamese musical instruments with T'rung and K'Longput, with artists interacting and guiding visitors to experience playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments; community performance activities, guiding visitors to experience traditional interactive forms such as painting on conical hats, learning and directly experiencing making to he, drawing Dong Ho paintings, getting acquainted with lacquer art and Vietnamese folk dances, bamboo dances, etc.
