- Promoting the core values of revolutionary journalism in the era of progress.
- Ca Mau press connects with social welfare
- Building a professional, humane, and modern press.
Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Business Association, affirmed: "The press is a reliable and effective companion of the business community."
- What does the business community in Ca Mau need from the press, sir?
Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc: The press plays an extremely important role, not only as a bridge and information forum, but also in offering suggestions, proposals, and ideas for solutions, both specific and broader, related to mechanisms and policies for the stability and development of the business community.
Currently, Ca Mau has over 4,000 businesses, contributing approximately one-third of the local budget, making a significant contribution and having a considerable impact on the overall stability and development of the province. A strong business community will provide Ca Mau's economy with a secure foundation and a crucial driving force for achieving both short-term and long-term goals and strategies.
It must be acknowledged that the business community in the province still has many limitations in "thinking far ahead and acting big" when participating in the "common playing field." Only by daring to innovate their thinking, accurately assessing the current situation, having solutions, and being determined to act can they create fundamental, effective, and sustainable changes, generating a strong enough impetus to help the business community truly thrive. And all of this requires the involvement of the press.

- Could you elaborate on the role of the press in supporting the business community both in the past and in the current context?
Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc: First of all, the provincial press has undergone innovation and development, increasingly affirming its prestige, especially its professionalism and legitimacy, based on building a modern, multi-platform digital press environment, enhancing competitiveness, information coverage, and the broad and comprehensive impact of information on social life. The provincial press has undergone very positive changes, making effective contributions by becoming a partner and friend to businesses.
The press has shown interest in developing and exploiting compelling topics, in-depth articles, and diverse and engaging forms of expression, creating a strong impact on public opinion and significant persuasive power in the economic and business sector. These journalistic works have contributed to solving many problems related to the development of the business community in particular, and urgent and important issues in the key sectors of the province's economy in general. More importantly, the press has contributed to enhancing the position, stature, internal strength, competitiveness, and strategic vision of Ca Mau province's economy.
Through the media, the image of Ca Mau's beautiful and friendly land and people, with its outstanding comparative advantages and promising future, has been widely disseminated, creating attraction and interest, and prompting major investors to seek investment opportunities with large-scale, strategic projects in the locality.

- In your opinion, what immediate actions can the provincial press take to support the business community?
Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc: I believe Ca Mau urgently needs a formal, regular, and in-depth press forum specifically for the business community. This work requires the support and leadership of the management, close cooperation between the press and businesses, in a spirit of openness, constructive innovation, and especially focusing on effectiveness. Through this forum, the press and businesses will increasingly develop a close, trusting relationship, supporting each other and achieving a "win-win" outcome.
At this time, the business community has a "golden opportunity" to thrive, namely Resolution 68 on the private economy, and this is also a matter that the press needs to pay close attention to. Specifically regarding Resolution 68, the press should not only provide information but also contribute to translating the resolution's content into practical reality. There is no other way; the press must be closer, clearer, and more practical in its information dissemination and in its methods of information.
It must be added that Ca Mau province has many resources and potential for development, especially in human resources, but there are still many concerns in this area. Currently, our province has about 200,000 migrant workers, with approximately 21,000 leaving each year; or the fact that many individual business owners are hesitant and face difficulties when wanting to convert into enterprises... These are all issues that require the involvement of the press to address and find effective and timely solutions.
Some issues that the press needs to focus on include: retaining, attracting, training, and improving the skills, qualifications, and quality of the province's workforce; forming an economy with innovative thinking, digital transformation, and the application of information technology and science in the business community... all of which are extremely valuable and meaningful issues for the business community and Ca Mau province in the current context.

- On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, as Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, what would you like to share with the journalists and media agencies of the province?
Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc: On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, on behalf of the business community, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and best wishes to the team of journalists and press agencies in general, and in Ca Mau province in particular. The press and the business community will forever be reliable and effective partners, working together to contribute to the homeland and the country in achieving the goal of prosperity, happiness, and strength in this era of national progress.
Thank you for the conversation!
