On January 14th, dozens of workers busily decorated the Tet flower street along Bach Dang Street (Hai Chau District) for the Year of the Snake (2025). Among them, the image of Da Nang's snake mascot, currently under construction, attracted the attention of many locals and tourists.
This snake mascot is located on the west side of the Han River (opposite the Cham Museum). Here, winding flower paths lead to the central flower cluster, where the snake mascot is placed, creating the highlight of the Tet flower street for the Year of the Snake.
Upon its appearance, the snake mascot immediately attracted a large crowd of people who came to see and take pictures. Many people commented enthusiastically that this year's snake mascot was very beautiful and majestic. Although not overly detailed, the mascot exuded elegance with its tall stature and eye-catching golden color.

Directly supervising the construction, artisan Dinh Van Tam (Quang Tri province) said that the snake mascot was crafted from a cobra, measuring 8 meters in length and 4.5 meters in height.
The construction materials include an iron frame, aluminum, and aluminum composite panels. The snake scales are meticulously crafted to create a realistic and soft appearance.
Besides the snake mascot, the spring flower street also features various large and small snake models, interspersed with playful floral displays.
According to the Da Nang Department of Construction, the project to decorate with flowers and lighting for the 2025 Lunar New Year has an investment of over 18 billion VND.
In Da Nang, there are other similar cobra mascots located at the T-shaped bridge (Hai Chau district) and the welcome gate of Hoa Vang district (Da Nang city).
