This morning (June 1st), observations at many gas stations in Hanoi showed a stable atmosphere, with people queuing to refuel as usual. Having received sufficient information, most consumers proactively chose the type of fuel suitable for their vehicles without any confusion.
Previously, in preparation for the first day of mass sales, most major petroleum businesses had completed the conversion of their retail infrastructure systems by the end of May. Specifically, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ) launched the sale of E10 gasoline throughout its entire system from May 25th. The Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) also began selling this bio-gasoline at more than 1,000 of its retail outlets from mid-May.
Observations along major roads and in the capital's center show that the buying and selling atmosphere is quite normal, with most customers expressing curiosity and agreement with this green consumption trend.

At the gas station, the pumps were ready to serve people from early morning. The flow of vehicles was quite stable.

At the gas station on Tran Hung Dao Street, a banner promoting the program to switch to environmentally friendly biofuels stands out.

The electronic display board at the gas station publicly shows the retail price of E10 RON 95-V gasoline at 24,560 VND/liter, making it convenient for people to monitor and choose.

The slogan "Greener, cleaner, moving further together" was displayed at the gas station, attracting the attention of many customers waiting to refuel.
As one of the customers filling up his tank this morning, Mr. Do Ngoc Doanh (Ha Dong ward) said that initially he still ordered RON95 gasoline out of habit. However, after the gas station staff clearly explained the transition to the E10 RON95 bioethanol fuel system and its safety for the engine, he felt completely reassured. According to Mr. Doanh, the most important thing is that the information and communication process must be transparent and specific so that people understand and proactively embrace it.

Right from the morning, many customers proactively asked staff to test the new E10 gasoline.

Many ride-hailing drivers and working people showed interest in the performance and economic viability of this new biofuel on its first day of release.
Ms. Bich Thuy (residing in Duong Noi ward) shared: "For the past few days, I've been following the news and thoroughly researching information about the new types of gasoline. Because I understand the technical specifications and recommendations from the management agency, this morning when I went to the gas station, I proactively chose the most suitable fuel for my car without any hesitation or second thoughts."

Customers happily pay after refueling with E10 gasoline.

All technical operations performed by staff strictly adhere to safety procedures for fire and explosion prevention at the experimental fuel pump.
The open acceptance by the people of Hanoi is a very positive sign, laying a solid foundation for replicating the biofuel usage model nationwide in the near future.
