This evening (February 1st), the 4th day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake, people flocked back to Hanoi early, and the southern gateway was packed with vehicles.


Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tu Anh, Deputy Head of Traffic Police Team No. 14, Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police, said that vehicles traveling from southern provinces to Hanoi can follow these routes: Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway to the city center; old National Highway 1 through Phu Xuyen, Thuong Tin, Thanh Tri, and Hoang Mai districts to the Giai Phong - Ngoc Hoi intersection. In case of simultaneous congestion in the above areas, vehicles can move from Van Diem intersection, Dai Xuyen intersection (Phu Xuyen district) to National Highway 6 (Nguyen Trai - Tran Phu - Quang Trung axis) - Ba La intersection, Road 21B - National Highway 38, or travel on the left bank dike of the Red River to the center of Hanoi.
