However, just a few days after the start, the Miss Grand organization took the contestants from Cambodia to Thailand. They announced that future activities of the Miss Grand 2024 contest will take place in Thailand.

Immediately after the controversy between Miss Grand and Miss Grand Cambodia, Cambodia's representative - Sotheary Bee - at this year's contest announced her withdrawal from the contest and will not come to Thailand.

The dispute between the Miss Grand organization and Miss Grand Cambodia became more intense when both sides continuously presented evidence to protect their images.
