Ms. Pham Kim Dung, President of Miss Grand Vietnam, said that every year, the contest always has innovations to go along with the development of the Miss Grand International organization, but all changes must still be suitable to the culture and unique beauty of Vietnamese women.
“The biggest goal of the contests is to inspire women to improve themselves, live beautifully and contribute more. Hopefully this year, by expanding the age range, we will give more opportunities to girls,” said Ms. Kim Dung.
On this occasion, the contest organizers awarded the Grand Arrival - Inspirational prize to contestant Huynh Pham Doan Trang for her reenactment of the images of Trung Sisters and Trieu Thi Mai going to battle in the Preliminary Round.
The organizers also awarded the Best Grand Arrival title to contestant Do Thi Tuong Vy. This is the prize for The Grand Arrival contest - contestants express their own personality and identity, combined with promoting culture, cuisine or local specialties through makeup and appearance. The winner of this contest is specially entered into the top 20 finalists.
Director Hoang Nhat Nam, head of the competition organizing committee, informed the specific schedule of the competitions. One of them is the return of the fashion event Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest season 12 with the participation of designers Pham Dang Anh Thu, Thuong Gia Ky, Thanh Huong Bui, Mai Phuong Trang and LOUBE. With the theme “Transition Time”, the event will take place on August 30 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Grand National Costume competition divided contestants into 4 teams under the guidance of designers Vu Viet Ha, Ivan Tran, Nguyen Viet Hung and Dang Trong Minh Chau.
Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Tran Tieu Vy, Vo Le Que Anh, Runner-up Le Phan Hanh Nguyen and Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh will join 35 other contestants to perform in the National Cultural Costume Night taking place on September 11.
From August 22, the top 35 contestants will begin participating in a series of activities and sub-competitions such as The Grand Voice, The Grand Walk, The Grand Heat, The Grand Shoot, The Grand Chat, The Grand Business...
The National Final Night is scheduled to be held on September 14. The newly crowned beauty queen will participate in the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant.
