Specifically, according to Clause 6, Article 33 of the 2025 Law on Employment: Employers will be entitled to a reduction in their social insurance contributions when recruiting and employing disabled employees. The period of enjoying this incentive shall not exceed 12 months.
This is a specific policy that directly supports units and businesses when they carry out their social responsibilities, creating job opportunities for disadvantaged labor groups. The reduction level will be specified in detail by the Government in sub-law documents issued in the coming time.
Regarding the level of social insurance contributions, the 2025 Employment Law stipulates:
- Employees contribute a maximum of 1% of monthly salary.
- Employers contribute a maximum of 1% of the monthly salary fund of employees participating in unemployment insurance.
- The State supports up to 1% of the monthly salary fund for unemployment insurance contributions of employees participating in unemployment insurance and is guaranteed by the Central budget.
In particular, Clause 7, Article 33 of the 2025 Law on Employment clearly stipulates the responsibility of employers: to pay enough social insurance before the employee terminates the contract to ensure timely settlement of social insurance regimes for employees. In case of failure to pay enough, the employer will have to pay an amount corresponding to the social insurance regimes that the employee is entitled to according to the provisions of law./.
