Driven by a passion for technology and an unwavering spirit of innovation, teacher Bui Manh Giang from Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School has become a pioneer in integrating digital transformation into management and teaching, contributing to positive changes in this remote school.

At Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School, students are familiar with the sight of Principal Bui Manh Giang operating a drone and camera to record extracurricular activities in the schoolyard. From the recorded images, he directly creates videos and clips for communication purposes and posts them on the school's fan page.

To date, hundreds of videos created by the teacher have attracted thousands of views, contributing to spreading the image and activities of the highland school on the digital platform.

The school leader's passion for technology has inspired and motivated the teaching staff to proactively adapt to the digital educational environment. As a result, digital transformation at Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School has been gradually and comprehensively implemented in both management and teaching.

In terms of management, the school has implemented various software programs for managing personnel, professional activities, and finance, such as VNEDU, MISA , electronic digital signatures, and the industry's database system. Digitizing records, lesson plans, electronic gradebooks, and financial procedures helps reduce paperwork, save time, and improve work efficiency.

Handling work through digital platforms has become a daily habit for Principal Bui Manh Giang.

To empower teachers with technology, Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School regularly organizes specialized training sessions. In these sessions, Mr. Bui Manh Giang directly guides teachers in using management software, designing digital lesson plans, applying AI to create images and videos, and developing engaging warm-up activities for lessons.

After school-level training, young, tech-savvy teachers continue to support and guide their colleagues within their subject group.

To enable teachers to effectively apply technology, it is essential to first foster their initiative and enthusiasm in adopting new technologies. Therefore, in addition to training, we always encourage teachers to learn from and support each other in the process of digital transformation. I am very pleased that many teachers in the school are proactively learning and boldly applying digital technology to improve the quality of their teaching.

Numerous training sessions on technology use for teachers were organized at Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School, directly led by Mr. Bui Manh Giang.

With the direct guidance and support of Principal Bui Manh Giang, many teachers in the school have proactively applied technology to teaching, creating more lively and engaging lessons.

Teacher Vu Thi Thu Thao said that currently, in her lessons, she regularly uses interactive whiteboards, video design software, digital lesson plans, and applies information technology in testing and evaluating students.

“Thanks to Mr. Giang’s direct guidance, I’ve learned to use many software programs to design lesson plans, and I can even create vivid illustrative videos from a single image in the textbook for the lesson. Most importantly, he always inspires us, helping us feel less pressured and more enthusiastic when approaching new technologies,” Ms. Thao shared.

The application of digital technology is also being flexibly implemented in many different subjects, including physical education.

Teacher Cao Vuong Cuong, a physical education teacher, said that during his lessons, he often uses music for warm-up exercises and also utilizes the projection screen in the multi-purpose hall to guide students through difficult movements and analyze the techniques.

Slow-motion footage from iPads and televisions helps students easily observe, visualize, and adjust their movements during training.

"For Physical Education, technology greatly assists in analyzing movement techniques. When slow-motion footage is played back, students can observe and visualize more easily, thus absorbing the lesson better," shared Mr. Cuong.

With the innovative spirit and passion for technology of teacher Bui Manh Giang, digital transformation at Phong Hai No. 2 Ethnic Boarding Primary School has gradually become more substantive and created noticeable changes in teaching and learning.

To date, all 45/45 staff and teachers of the school have become proficient in using technology software for management and teaching, gradually creating a modern learning environment for students in the mountainous region.
