With the largest exhibition space and content ever, along with a series of unique programs and activities, the exhibition promises to be an attractive destination.
Contents displayed at the Exhibition
Introducing and showcasing the outstanding achievements of the country in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as: industry and technology; investment and trade; agriculture and rural areas; security and defense; foreign affairs; health and education; culture, sports, and tourism.
At the same time, it introduces Vietnamese culture - the country and its people - with its 4000-year-old cultural traditions; the rich and diverse cultures of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of resources and products from the three regions; and outstanding architectural works, both ancient and modern, throughout the country.
Introducing Vietnam's green industries and its green transformation and digital transformation journey; introducing Vietnam's aerospace industry; introducing Vietnam's security and defense industry; introducing the spaces of countries with particularly important diplomatic relations with Vietnam; introducing the spaces of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries.
Exhibition formats: Large-format panels, photographs, drawings, documents, artifacts combined with 3D mapping projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audiovisual works, digital technology applications, AI, etc.
Exhibition layout: Based on major content areas such as: General exhibition area; Green economy, clean energy and green industries; Aerospace and aerospace industry; Security and defense industry; International area and area for 12 cultural industries.
The exhibition consists of 3 sections
The exhibition area includes: General exhibition area (Kim Quy Exhibition House); Outdoor exhibition area (East, West, South, North courtyards); International exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (Block A Exhibition House).
The general exhibition area (Kim Quy Exhibition House) has the theme VIETNAM - A JOURNEY TO A NEW ERA.
The exhibition area encompasses both horizontal and vertical slices of history, highlighting core values, great achievements, and immortal legends of Vietnam's nation-building and defense history, guided through an experiential journey imbued with profound messages.
The exhibition area comprises 6 spaces with the following themes: "Vietnam - Country - People"; "95 Years of the Party Flag Guiding the Way"; "Creating Development"; "Prosperous Province, Strong Nation"; "Economic Locomotive"; "Entrepreneurship for Nation Building".
The outdoor exhibition area has the theme of INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT.
The exhibition area includes: 1- Exhibition space themed "For a Green Future"; 2- Exhibition space themed "Aspiration for the Sky"; 3- Exhibition space themed "Sword and Shield"; 4- Exhibition space themed "National Festival"; 5- Space for performing arts programs.
The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (in Exhibition Hall Block A) have the theme of INTEGRATION AND INNOVATION.
This exhibition area includes: a space themed "Creativity for Construction" and a space themed "Vietnam and the World".
A comprehensive and in-depth introduction to the 80-year history of the formation and development of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government Office.
At the Exhibition of National Achievements: 80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness, the Government Office will present a comprehensive and in-depth history of the 80-year formation and development of the Government Office and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from its establishment to the present day, using the most modern technology, promising to be attractive to the people of the whole country and international friends.
The exhibition booth showcasing the nation's achievements: 80 years of the journey towards independence, freedom, and happiness, organized by the Government Office, will help the public better understand the immense contributions of the Government Office to the country's overall achievements, from the struggle for independence, national construction and defense, to the Doi Moi (Renovation) and international integration processes. It will also emphasize the role of the Government Office as a crucial advisory and support agency for the Government and the Prime Minister throughout the country's history.
The artifacts, images, videos, clips, and stories displayed at the Exhibition aim to awaken national pride, educate about patriotic traditions, strengthen the people's faith in the leadership of the Party and the State, and contribute to helping the people understand what the Government has done and how it has done in serving the Fatherland and the people.
Highlights of the Exhibition
August 28th (Thursday): The opening ceremony will be held at 9:00 AM at the National Exhibition Center. The program will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Vietnam Radio.
August 29th (Friday): Forum "Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Digital Age"; workshop "The Role of Data in the Digital Age" chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology; art program hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at the North Courtyard.
August 30th (Saturday): At 8 PM, an art program hosted by the Ministry of Public Security will be held at the North Courtyard.
August 31st (Sunday): At 8 PM, the art program "Hanoi - The Everlasting Aspiration of Vietnam," hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee, will take place at the North Courtyard.
September 1st (Monday): Performances, sightseeing, and artistic exchanges between provinces and cities.
September 2nd (Tuesday): At 8 PM, an art program hosted by the People's Committee of Hue City.
September 3rd (Wednesday): Performances, sightseeing, and artistic exchanges with provinces and cities.
September 4th (Thursday): At 9:00 AM, the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City Business Forum, chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
September 5th (Friday): The closing ceremony will take place at 8 PM at the North Court with the artistic program "80 Years - The Glorious Path". The program will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Vietnam Radio.
The exhibition is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, continuously from August 29, 2025 to September 5, 2025; except on August 28, when it opens at 1:00 PM.
