Many activities to celebrate National Day September 2nd in the armed forces

On August 21, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen (An Giang Provincial Military Command) organized propaganda and traditional talks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

At the propaganda session, officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 2 and the Military Command of 32 communes and wards watched the documentary film August Revolution 1945 - A brilliant milestone in the history of the Vietnamese nation, produced by the People's Documentary and Cinema Studio.

Officers and soldiers listened to Major General Le Hoang Phuc, former Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, review the heroic revolutionary struggle tradition of An Giang's army and people through historical periods; the responsibility of officers and soldiers of the armed forces for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

According to Colonel Chau Chac, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, in recent times, agencies and units of the provincial armed forces have organized many activities such as propaganda about the celebration, parade, and march of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; effectively implementing a wide-ranging political and ideological activity within the entire Party Committee about this event; launching emulation movements, youth projects, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to celebrate; responding to the contest of composing propaganda posters about the event, the online contest "Proud of Vietnam".

Thereby, contributing to arousing and fostering people's trust and pride in the Party, the State and the cause of national renewal, creating unity within the Party and social consensus; encouraging and motivating cadres, employees and soldiers to overcome all difficulties and challenges, determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of the Party Congresses at all levels in the new term.
