My Thoi ward police destroyed gambling den

On the morning of August 23, My Thoi Ward Police (An Giang Province) said they were consolidating files to handle 17 subjects related to the money-making gambling den that was destroyed in Hung Thanh hamlet.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on August 22, through the work of grasping the area, My Thoi Ward Police discovered many subjects gathering to gamble for money on an empty land in Group 1, Hung Thanh Hamlet, causing disturbance to local security and order.

The ward police deployed forces and caught 17 subjects in the act of gambling. Evidence seized at the scene included: 600,000 VND on the gambling mat, more than 20 million VND on the subjects, along with 7 motorbikes of various types and 2 bicycles.

The ward police have made a record of the incident, temporarily seized the exhibits, and brought the subjects to the ward police headquarters for questioning.
