Lao Cai: 4 schools were awarded water filtration systems and warm clothes worth more than 700 million VND

On October 7, more than 2,000 students from four schools in Lao Cai province received warm clothes, school supplies, daily necessities, and water filtration systems with a total value of over 700 million VND.

Donating water purifiers to Hoang Van Tho Kindergarten, Chan Thinh commune.

The activity was jointly implemented by Crossian Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Children's Fund Social Enterprise Co., Ltd., donating water filtration systems and school supplies to 4 schools: Hoang Van Tho Kindergarten (Chan Thinh commune), Lung Than 2 Boarding Primary School (Lung Phinh commune), Hoang Thu Pho Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Bac Ha commune) and Hong Ca 1 Primary - Secondary School (Ban Chieng village, Hung Khanh commune).

Each water purifier costs 100 million VND, has an automatic filtration system, capacity of 150 liters/60 minutes, and is warranted and has free filter replacement within 2 years.

With the new system, students and teachers can use drinking water directly from the tap, meeting the standards of the Ministry of Health , contributing to reducing the risk of waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid fever, E.Coli infection...

In addition to water filtration systems, businesses also donated outdoor toys, school supplies, blankets and warm clothes to students.

On this occasion, the Lao Cai Youth Connection group also donated 150 warm coats to children of 4 schools.
