Many exciting activities

NDO - From October 24-26, agencies and units under the Command of Naval Region 5, from the mainland to remote islands, organized many activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the establishment of the Command of Naval Region 5 (October 26, 1975 - October 26, 2024).

Officers and soldiers of the 5th Naval Region Command laid flowers and offered incense at the Fist Monument ( Kien Giang ) to commemorate the heroic martyrs, expressing their boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of previous generations who bravely sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.

Youth Forum Theme: Naval Region 5 Command - 49 Years of Maritime Defense at Battalion 563.

As part of the activities commemorating the Traditional Day, agencies and units under the Region also organized a youth forum with the theme: "The 5th Naval Region Command - 49 years of defending the sea"; screened films on a large screen for officers and soldiers; gave talks on traditions; organized military games, folk games, cultural and artistic activities, physical education, and sports...

Colonel Vo Hung Lam, Head of Political Affairs of the 5th Naval Region Command, said that through activities aimed at widely disseminating information to officers and soldiers about the journey of building, fighting, maturing, and developing the 5th Naval Region Command; and the outstanding achievements and accomplishments of officers and soldiers of the Region in fulfilling their assigned political tasks.

Through this, we aim to awaken pride in the national traditions, the military, the Navy, and the unit; strengthen faith and determination; and encourage and motivate officers and soldiers to strive, train, study, and work diligently to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, exemplary, and outstanding unit, and firmly protecting the sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
