According to this person's observations over the years, these are the majors with traditionally high scores at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

With its own scoring formula, the benchmark score for Computer Science in 2024 is 84.16; in 2023 it is 79.84; in 2022 it is 75.99. This is the highest benchmark score in this school.

The benchmark score for Computer Engineering in 2024 is 82.87; in 2023 it is 78.26; in 2022 it is 66.86.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology will enroll 5,550 students. The comprehensive admission method includes criteria on academic ability, other abilities, and social activities, accounting for 95-99% of the total enrollment.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Hoai Thang - Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said that the general admission score of the whole university will decrease compared to 2024 due to increased enrollment quota and lower math scores this year than last year.

However, according to Mr. Thang, top schools (schools with high admission scores in previous years) will still maintain their performance. On the other hand, because this year there are many admission and score conversion methods, top schools tend not to reduce their admission scores.

For Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, the school still maintains a stable performance in enrollment. This year's benchmark score may decrease, but the decrease is very small compared to last year because the 2025 score scale is 100 compared to the 2024 score scale of 90, or it may not even decrease.
