"Eating is like hunting"
At entertainment spots such as Nguyen Hue Flower Street (District 1), Turtle Lake (District 3), and Le Thi Rieng Park (District 10), many people and tourists took advantage of the last day of Tet holiday this year to stroll around and take souvenir photos.

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Thuy Tien (living in District 10) said that tonight she and a group of friends made an appointment to go to the "home snail restaurant" on Truong Son Street (District 10) for a New Year's gathering, but when they arrived, the restaurant was full.
"I thought the restaurant wouldn't be too crowded since it was just after Tet, but when we got there, there were no more seats. We had to sadly turn around and look for another restaurant. We searched for a long time but couldn't find a satisfactory snail restaurant nearby, so the whole group had to switch to hot pot," Ms. Tien said with a laugh.

Similarly, Mr. Pham Tin (22 years old, living in Thu Duc City) also fell into the situation of "eating like hunting" when he made an appointment with friends to eat New Year's Eve on the 5th day of Tet.
Mr. Tin said the group had planned to have a New Year's date, go to a coffee shop, and play board games together, but they didn't expect every shop to be packed.
"We drove around several downtown areas, all the shops were packed, the staff said we would have to wait a long time so we had to keep going. We went to 2 or 3 shops before finding a place with an empty table," said Mr. Tin.
Mr. Tin added, "While driving, I saw a lot of traffic, many technology drivers and shippers were also working again, probably many people were taking advantage of the time to go out and enjoy the rest of the holiday before returning to work."
Many shops have not reopened yet.
Although the street atmosphere has become more bustling, according to observations, there are still many restaurants, eateries, coffee shops, fashion and beauty stores that have not reopened.
Many shops are expected to reopen from February 3 (the 6th) when workers and employees return to work after the holiday.
