The market for flowers and gifts is bustling for the November 20th occasion.

As November 20th approaches, the streets of Da Nang city are ablaze with the colors of gratitude. According to observations, this year's fresh flower market is particularly rich in designs and color palettes. The common price for each basket or arrangement ranges from 300,000 to 500,000 VND, suitable for various customer groups such as students, parents, and workers.

In addition, many shops are offering high-end floral arrangements priced at several million dong. These arrangements are often made from imported flowers such as phalaenopsis orchids, peonies, tulips, and Ecuadorian roses—flowers known for their vibrant colors, long-lasting blooms, and popularity for special occasions.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai, owner of a flower shop on Ton Duc Thang Street, said: “This year, the prices of many imported flowers have nearly doubled compared to normal days, and domestic flowers have also increased by about 20%. Due to the impact of floods, the amount of flowers from the North and Da Lat has decreased, causing import prices to be 30-40% higher than before. Even so, customer demand remains high.”

Besides fresh flowers, the market for Teachers' Day gifts on November 20th also sees the rise of artistic flower arrangements such as wax flowers, silk flowers, and glitter flowers. Prices vary considerably, from 30,000 to 200,000 VND, making them affordable for students and especially for parents who want a beautiful yet budget-friendly gift.

Besides flowers and souvenirs, fruit baskets, pastries, and especially personal care gifts are also popular among consumers. Many cosmetics stores report that gift sets including shampoo, body wash, lipstick, moisturizer, etc., packaged elegantly, are priced from 150,000 to 500,000 VND, making them suitable gifts for teachers. These gift sets are considered practical, easy to use, and appropriate for teachers of various ages.

According to businesses, this year's gift-giving trend emphasizes simplicity yet sophistication, prioritizing gifts with high practical value or sentimental value.
