LIST OF PROJECTS INAUGURATED ON THE OCCASION OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CAPITAL'S LIBERATION

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), Hanoi is implementing many key projects such as the Children's Hospital, the Children's Palace, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station, the extended Le Quang Dao Street, the 6-lane road from Nguyen Van Cu to Ngoc Thuy Dike, and the Au Co - Nghi Tam - Xuan Dieu Street.

NHON - HANOI RAILWAY STATION OVERHEAD SECTION

The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station Metro urban railway line is 12.5 km long with a total investment of VND 34,826 billion from ODA capital. Of which, the elevated section (Nhon - Cau Giay) is 8.5 km long and the underground section (Cau Giay - Hanoi Railway Station) is 4 km long.

After nearly 15 years of construction, on August 8, 2024, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station elevated section (Nhon - Cau Giay) metro line officially operated and welcomed visitors to experience.

In the first days of operation, the elevated Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line (Nhon - Cau Giay) surpassed the Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway line, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station set a record for passenger transport with more than 100,000 passengers/day.

This shows that the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station is widely recognized by the public as a fast, safe, green, clean and beautiful means of transportation. On September 20, Hanoi City recognized the project: "Elevated section, Nhon - Cau Giay" of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station pilot urban railway construction project as a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

HANOI CHILDREN'S PALACE

Hanoi Children's Palace has a total area of ​​nearly 40,000 m2 including public items such as: 800-seat theater; 200-seat cinema; 500-seat gymnasium; 10-lane swimming pool; classrooms and library; astronomical tower... Built with a construction area of ​​more than 10,000 m2 out of a total of 40,000 m2 of the entire project land of the lake park.

Hanoi Children's Palace is built in CV1 Park and Lake (Nam Tu Liem District) with a total investment of more than 1,300 billion VND.

On September 21, the Hanoi People's Committee held the inauguration and installation ceremony of the Hanoi Children's Palace, one of the projects to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
