The Fantastic Four: First Steps (Vietnamese title Fantastic Four: First Steps ) directed by Matt Shakman is the first Fantastic Four film released by Marvel Studios.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Marvel's attempt to improve box office revenue
More than six decades after Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created a superhero team to rival the Justice League, The Fantastic Four finally gets a worthy big-screen adaptation in a fun film set in the 1960s.

As far as live-action adaptations of comic book quartets go, Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps succeeded where previous attempts had failed. Now the studio is betting big on the franchise. At its peak, each Marvel film grossed more than $1 billion at the box office, but it’s been on the decline lately.

Set in the early 1960s, The Fantastic Four: First Steps begins when Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and his wife, Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) – who can create force fields that make objects and herself disappear – announce they are pregnant after a very difficult time getting pregnant.
However, how the exposure to cosmic rays during the last trip that gave the Fantastic Four their powers will affect their unborn child is a question the filmmakers are asking.
The fun part of the show is that, while the quartet has their own strengths, they still bicker, joke, and argue like any other family.
And the film puts motherhood to an unimaginable test when Sue Storm accepts to use her newborn son as bait to destroy the giant Galactus, a tyrant who devours many planets and this time threatens the earth if she does not possess the baby.

Praise for The Fantastic Four: First Steps
AP writer Jake Coyle commented: "The Fantastic Four series finally gets a worthy big-screen adaptation in the latest hilarious film set in the 1960s."
George McKay of Harpers shared: "This is probably the best film Marvel Studios has ever released. The talented cast and outstanding performances from Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn (as Johnny Storm) are truly impressive. If you thought the MCU was 'dead' after Avengers: Endgame, think again. A meticulously crafted work that easily becomes the new standard for the superhero genre."
Producer Brian Long commented: "I didn't expect much at first, but The Fantastic Four: The First Steps really marks the MCU's true return. The performances of Julia Gardner (as Shall-Bal) and Joseph Quinn are the two brightest points. Galactus brings a real sense of danger and his weight is felt even when he's not on screen."
" The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows that Marvel has learned valuable lessons from its recent box office underperformance," David Rooney wrote in The Hollywood Reporter.
Like DC's Superman blockbuster that hit theaters this summer, Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps hopes to win back the hearts of audiences who have grown tired of the superhero genre. The film will premiere globally, including in Vietnam, from July 25.
