“If you feel tired, dizzy, difficulty breathing... must quickly get out of the crowd, find a fresh air place and notify the authorities", Mr. Duc recommends. In addition, people should wear loose-fitting clothes, wear shoes that are easy to move in and always pay attention to exits in the gathering area.

For people with chronic diseases, it is necessary to strictly follow the treatment regimen, take medication on time and bring spare medication when leaving home.

To ensure medical care for the A80 event, the Ministry of Health has mobilized thousands of medical staff and hundreds of emergency teams to stand guard along the parade route and in key areas. The staff will provide first aid and timely transfer to hospital if necessary.

People are advised to install the A80 application on their phones to know the location of the nearest medical facilities and get support when needed.

Dr. Vu Duc Long, Deputy Director of A9 Emergency Center (Bach Mai Hospital), said that at crowded events, many situations can occur such as exhaustion, suffocation, hypotension or acute illnesses. Being adequately prepared not only protects your personal health but also avoids putting pressure on the emergency system.

Mr. Long emphasized that if people have symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, chest pain, anxiety, sweating... they need to quickly move to a well-ventilated area and avoid standing for long periods in a stuffy crowd.

Experts say that, in addition to support from medical staff, everyone should equip themselves with basic first aid knowledge to handle emergency situations. In crowded events where medical staff cannot immediately reach, a few initial first aid steps can determine survival.

In particular, in an emergency situation, people need to absolutely avoid crowding, calmly listen to instructions and quickly find the nearest exit to ensure safety.
