Behind every fire brought under control, every successful rescue operation, are intense training sessions, sweat poured on the training ground, and unnamed injuries.
Rarely appearing in front of the cameras, the highly skilled firefighting and rescue forces choose to quietly hone their skills in difficult times, so that when danger strikes, they are always the first to step forward.

Quiet and unassuming, the highly skilled Firefighting and Rescue Team is the force that always appears at the hottest spots – where the line between life and death is measured in seconds.

Before donning their firefighting uniform, every firefighter must undergo a rigorous selection process based on physical fitness, skills, and courage, because even a small mistake can cost lives.

High-intensity training, closely following real-world scenarios, is a mandatory requirement, from high-altitude rescue and confined space operations to accessing the scene amidst smoke, fire, and strong currents.

Climbing dozens of flights of stairs in high-rise buildings, fully equipped with fire-fighting gear, oxygen tanks, and rescue equipment, is a familiar exercise for these "iron men."

In serious traffic accidents, elite special forces are always the spearhead, being the first to reach the scene to rescue people and handle dangerous situations.

Not only on land, the soldiers are also proficient in underwater rescue skills, ready to dive deep and brave strong currents to search for victims during floods (photo: practicing a scenario of bringing a victim from a ravine more than 50m deep to safety).

Apartment fires, where dozens of people are trapped amidst toxic smoke and raging flames, are the harshest test of the courage and skills of elite forces.
For example, at the Muong Thanh apartment building, during a fire on May 2, 2025, the fire department guided over 50 people to safety and completely brought the fire under control, minimizing damage.

For a commander, orders come not only from superiors but also from responsibility and conscience; they are always the first to arrive at the scene and the last to leave.

Days without fires or natural disasters are precious times for the entire team to strengthen discipline, improve physical fitness, and refine professional skills.

Amidst smoke, fire, floods, and danger, the exceptionally skilled Firefighting and Rescue Team silently upholds its oath to serve the people, becoming a solid pillar for the peace and security of Da Nang.
In 2025, the Da Nang City Fire and Rescue Police force received 37 fire reports, dispatched 37 vehicles and officers to the scene to coordinate firefighting and rescue efforts, promptly saving 5 people and protecting many properties of the people.
Regarding search and rescue operations, the unit received 14 reports and dispatched 15 vehicles and equipment. Through these efforts, they rescued 23 people who were trapped or injured, and provided assistance to the people affected by the storm and floods.
