The English book “President Ho Chi Minh - Biography and Career” has just been launched by the Truth National Political Publishing House in collaboration with the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, bringing meaningful documents to domestic and international readers. The book also enriches the collection of works about President Ho Chi Minh written in English as well as other languages. Through nearly 200 pages, the book's content outlines the most basic, typical and memorable information about President Ho Chi Minh from his childhood until he left Nha Rong Wharf to find a way to save the country and returned to help his compatriots escape slavery and misery.
To celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece has just organized a ceremony to introduce and launch the book "Biography of Ho Chi Minh" in Greek, translated from the English version copyrighted by The Gioi Publishing House. The book is supported by the Steering Committee for Foreign Information Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, The Gioi Publishing House and especially comrade Velissarios Kossivakis, a member of the Greek Communist Party and the New Star group. It is known that following the book "Biography of Ho Chi Minh", comrade Velissarios Kossivakis and the New Star group are translating from English to Greek the book "Selected writings of President Ho Chi Minh from 1920-1969", striving to launch it on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of our National Day next September.

Another meaningful publication recently released by the Truth National Political Publishing House is “Ho Chi Minh through the memories of former political prisoners in Con Dao”. The book is a selection and collection of articles and memoirs by former political prisoners in Con Dao. Between the line of life and death, between dark prisons, between torture and physical punishment, the political prisoners in Con Dao still have a bright faith in the Party, an endless faith in Uncle Ho, the leader of the Vietnamese people. Some typical articles include “Belief in certain victory”, “Always having Uncle Ho by my side”, “A few stories about the Con Dao prison sentence and Uncle Ho”, “A day in May in the Tiger Cage”, “Con Dao political prisoners hold Uncle Ho’s funeral at Tan Hiep prison”, “Poems written by Con Dao prisoners about President Ho”…
“79 Stories of Uncle Ho from the Presidential Palace” is a book collected and compiled by Dr. Nguyen Anh Minh, published by the National Political Publishing House, Truth, May 2025. The Presidential Palace is where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked for 15 years (from December 1954 to September 1969). Despite being busy with a thousand things, Uncle Ho still took the time to warmly welcome compatriots, soldiers, teenagers, children and international friends. Those who had the honor of meeting Uncle Ho all had deep feelings, unforgettable memories and touching stories about him. The 79 stories in the book were told by those who had the honor of meeting Uncle Ho at the Presidential Palace.
Another famous book that has just been reprinted is “Uncle Ho’s Secretary Tells Stories” (fourth edition, revised) by author Vu Ky. Comrade Vu Ky (1921-2005) worked as Uncle Ho’s secretary for 24 years and participated in preserving and promoting Ho Chi Minh’s legacy for 35 years. The pages of the book impart to generations of readers knowledge about history and Uncle Ho’s life, and spread love and trust in the Party, respect for the people and the spirit of wholehearted service to the Fatherland and compatriots.
The book “Golden Lotus” by writer Son Tung has just been published by Omega Vietnam Book Joint Stock Company and Truth National Political Publishing House to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. Along with “Blue Lotus”, “Golden Lotus” is a famous book by writer Son Tung about Uncle Ho.
