Ninh Binh has one more district recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards.

The decision assigns the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee the responsibility to announce and reward according to regulations; and directs the Yen Mo District People's Committee to continue maintaining and improving the quality of the criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in building new rural areas.

Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government agencies, members of the Central Steering Committee for national target programs for the period 2021-2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this decision.

Yen Mo district has focused on mobilizing the consensus and participation of all sectors of the population, working together to contribute their intellect, manpower, and resources to build new rural areas.

With the motto of building new rural areas from the grassroots, ensuring that the new rural areas are substantive, effective, and sustainable, Yen Mo has focused on mobilizing the consensus and participation of all strata of the people, working together to contribute their intellect, manpower, and resources to change the face of their homeland.

Therefore, after achieving the New Rural Area standard in 2020, with the attention and support of the province and the determination of the entire political system, along with the unity, effort, and cooperation of all strata of the people, Yen Mo district continues to build an advanced New Rural Area.

The entire district has mobilized over 2.8 trillion VND to invest in upgrading infrastructure and completing the necessary criteria. The transportation, irrigation, healthcare, and school systems have been developed synchronously, meeting the needs of socio-economic development in the area.

In addition, the material and spiritual lives of the people have improved; the economic structure has shifted in a positive direction, gradually increasing the proportion of industry - construction and services. Currently, the average per capita income of the district is over 70 million VND/person/year (an increase of more than 20 million VND compared to 2020); the poverty and near-poverty rate has decreased to below 1.08%.

The district has 2 communes that met the standards for model new rural areas in the 2016-2020 period and 9 out of 16 communes that met the standards for advanced new rural areas. The district has met all 9 criteria for an advanced new rural district as stipulated by the Prime Minister and the province.

Regarding outstanding debts for basic infrastructure construction, the district has developed a plan and schedule for payment, ensuring there are no outstanding debts for basic infrastructure construction in the advanced new rural development program. Regarding citizen satisfaction, over 85.56% of households in the district were surveyed, and the satisfaction rate reached over 99.82%.
