At the construction site of the road project connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon Port, the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board reported that the project has a length of 19.445 km, with a total investment of more than VND 1,163 billion. Currently, the site clearance work has been basically completed, the main construction packages have reached about 63.83% of the volume. Some sections of the route have been paved, and bridges and culverts have been completed. However, due to the impact of the rainy season at the end of 2024, some sections of the roadbed have collapsed, and the consulting unit is currently adjusting technical solutions to overcome them. The project aims to open the main route to traffic by the end of March 2025.

At the southern bypass of Phu Phong town (Tay Son), with a total investment of more than 791 billion VND, the entire site has been handed over, contractors are focusing on constructing the roadbed, bridges, and drainage system. The project has currently reached about 62.59% of the volume, in which many sections have been paved, and large bridges are basically completed.

Meanwhile, the route connecting An Nhon town center to the coastal road west of Thi Nai lagoon has a total investment of 620 billion VND, currently the site clearance work has reached 92%, construction has reached about 55% of the volume. The Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is committed to speeding up the progress, striving to complete the entire project in the fourth quarter of 2025.

After the on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and construction units in implementing the projects on schedule, especially site clearance work, mobilizing human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress. However, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also pointed out some limitations, such as landslides at some sections of the route, and the impact of weather slowing down the progress of some items.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang emphasized that these are key traffic projects, which are of great significance in connecting infrastructure and promoting socio-economic development of the province. Therefore, relevant units need to concentrate and coordinate closely to remove difficulties, speed up construction progress while still ensuring construction quality and labor safety.

For the sections of the route that have been eroded, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to urgently review and coordinate with the consulting unit to adjust the design appropriately, ensuring the stability of the slope. For the sections that have been completed with asphalt, it is necessary to organize acceptance and quality assessment soon before putting them into operation.

In addition, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested localities where the project passes through to continue to closely coordinate with investors to complete site clearance and hand over the remaining area early, avoiding affecting the overall progress. Construction contractors need to increase human resources and equipment, take advantage of favorable weather to speed up progress, ensuring completion on schedule.
