Most young women choose to wear a white ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), with their hair styled in a simple bun and a conical hat or a red triangular scarf printed with a bright gold star.

On her first visit to Hanoi , the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was the first destination that Thuy An (from Hue) thought of, a place that every Vietnamese person looks forward to, especially on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country.
On the historic Ba Dinh Square, under the golden summer sun, Thuy An, like many other young people, was dressed in a white ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) to capture beautiful moments.
"I have three days in Hanoi on this trip, so I really want to visit the famous landmarks in the capital. For me, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the most sacred place because it is where President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace."
Ba Dinh Square is also where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Like many other young people, I really want to come here to preserve memories before this special occasion," Thuy An shared.

As for Luong Ngoc (Bac Ninh), despite being busy with work, she still managed to find time to visit Ba Dinh Square before September 2nd.
"National Day on September 2nd is not only meaningful to me, but every Vietnamese citizen finds it sacred and cherished. During the upcoming holiday, I hope to visit Hanoi and immerse myself in the atmosphere of the parade and march commemorating the 80th National Day on September 2nd," Ngoc said.

According to Mr. Tú, the weather these days is quite hot and humid, especially around midday. Young people should choose the times between 5-7 am and 4-6 pm to get beautiful photos without being too hot.
