Currently, the school has 12 classes with a total of 398 students, all of whom are children from ethnic minority groups in the province. This diversity in ethnic composition creates a unique character for the school and requires comprehensive management and education that is appropriate to the practical situation.
In response to the "Innovation in Teaching and Learning" emulation movement, the school had 8 initiatives that were evaluated and ranked by the grassroots-level scientific council and effectively applied in management, teaching, and training of gifted students. In addition, teachers were assigned to guide students in carrying out 2 provincial-level science and technology research projects, contributing to fostering a passion for creativity and scientific research among students.
Besides academic achievements, students of the school have also achieved many outstanding results in other fields such as: Special prize in the Lai Chau Provincial Youth and Children's Creative Competition 2025; second prize overall in the Phu Dong Sports Festival; third prize in the English Competition with the theme "Lai Chau Youth Integrating Globally" 2nd edition 2025; 2 provincial-level science and technology research projects, along with many awards in competitions on drug prevention, the harmful effects of tobacco, and drawing based on book themes.
With the comprehensive achievements it has attained, the Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School is truly a reliable support for the ethnic minority communities in the province, a place that nurtures dreams, cultivates willpower, and opens up a future for many generations of students in the highlands. In the coming time, the school will continue to innovate, create, and improve the overall quality of education, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of sustainable development in Lai Chau province.
| In the 2024-2025 school year, 100% of students achieved a passing grade or higher in their conduct; 100% achieved a passing grade or higher in their academic performance, with 97.41% achieving good or excellent grades; 37 students won provincial-level awards for academic excellence. The high school graduation rate reached 100%; the university admission rate exceeded 80%. At the end of the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year, the school's educational quality will continue to be maintained and developed steadily, with 100% of students achieving a passing grade or higher in their academic performance and 100% achieving a passing grade or higher in their conduct. At the 2025-2026 Provincial Science and Technology Competition, all four of the school's projects won awards, including three first prizes and one second prize, further affirming the school's leading educational quality. |
