A vibrant tapestry of culture and sports at "U Minh Forest Scent" 2026
The opening ceremony of the 1st Cluster 1 Sports Festival in 2026 was held with great enthusiasm.
On the morning of May 19th, at the Ca Mau Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center (facility 2, Bac Lieu ward), the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized an education course on anti-doping for high-achieving athletes currently training and preparing to participate in the 10th National Sports Games in 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center, shared knowledge on doping prevention and control with high-achieving athletes in Ca Mau.
In addition, trainees are guided on how to look up treatment medications, identify the risk of unintentional doping violations, and improve their awareness of compliance with regulations in professional sports activities.
Athletes study the literature, learning how to look up information on safe medications to use during training and competition.
According to the organizers, doping not only affects competition performance but also directly impacts the health, career, and reputation of athletes. Therefore, equipping athletes with knowledge of doping prevention and control is a necessary requirement before entering major competitions.
The training course aims to raise awareness, build an honest and fair competitive environment, and say no to doping in sports.
According to the plan, anti-doping education activities will continue to be implemented at sports training centers nationwide ahead of the 10th National Sports Games in 2026.
