The price of piglets is increasing due to high demand from people.

According to the representative of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) and the investigation of Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, the selling price of piglets is currently from 1.8 - 2.1 million VND/pig, about 500,000 VND/pig higher than the same period last year. With this selling price, after deducting expenses, farm owners earn a profit of 500,000 - 800,000 VND/pig.

The price of piglets has increased due to the high demand for piglets for meat. Currently, pigs are being sold for 7.6 - 7.8 million VND/100 kg, so people tend to focus on piglet farming, pushing up the price of piglets.
