She wrote many classic plays such as *Lá Sầu Riêng* (The Durian Leaf), *Quan Âm Thị Kính* (Quan Am Thi Kinh), *Trà Hoa Nữ* (Camellia Girl)... The Vietnam Book of Records honors People's Artist Kim Cương as the artist who has written the most spoken drama scripts in Vietnam.
The play "The Durian Leaf" (starring alongside People's Artist Bay Nam) is considered a classic of Southern Vietnamese theater, most notably the scene where the mother visits her daughter, who is married into a wealthy family. The scene where Dieu (People's Artist Kim Cuong) sends her mother away because "people suspect her of stealing rice" brings tears to the audience's eyes.
People's Artist Viễn Châu wrote the song " The Dream of the Durian Leaf" as a gift to People's Artist Kim Cương and People's Artist Bảy Nam. This modern-traditional song was successfully performed by singer Cẩm Ly in her solo live show.
