Episode 76 of the program Vietnamese Family Home features two famous guests: People's Artist Thanh Lam and singer Ali Hoang Duong. The program was recorded on a day when it was raining heavily.
To ensure the broadcast schedule, the crew still decided to record, all players, MCs and guests wore raincoats, waded through mud to participate in the challenges.
As a female artist who is very meticulous in her dressing style when appearing before the audience, this time People's Artist Thanh Lam surprised many people with her simple outfit and her feet wearing comfortable sandals walking on the mud.
This image made MC Quyen Linh exclaim: "Normally people see Princess Thanh Lam on stage very gorgeous, but today she is wearing flip-flops, wading in mud."

Thanh Lam herself is not too concerned about her image. She said: “This is the first time I have participated in a program in the rain like this. But I feel warm because everyone came to participate and cheered me on.”
The female artist revealed that she is also from the Central region, her father is originally from Duy Xuyen so she understands the difficulties and hardships of the people here.
Despite the unfavorable weather, having to wade through mud and wear raincoats, People's Artist Thanh Lam and Ali Hoang Duong were still very enthusiastic in participating in the challenges to gain priority for children in difficult circumstances.
In the first challenge, within 1 minute and 30 seconds, the two guests had to use chopsticks to pick up a ping pong ball and place it on 14 bottles of water. People's Artist Thanh Lam seemed quite confused, constantly dropping the ball. Ali Hoang Duong quickly supported his senior so that both of them could complete the challenge, giving priority to the children.

In the next challenge, the two guests had to use spoons to scoop coins from the table onto a plate, but could only use one hand. People's Artist Thanh Lam did not hesitate to abandon her powerful diva image to "cheat" by screwing the coin to the edge of the table and then using a plate to catch it, but MC Quyen Linh discovered and stopped her.
Not giving up, People's Artist Thanh Lam used the tip of a spoon to gently screw the coin onto the plate. Thanks to this way of playing, the two artists quickly won priority for the families.
When entering the main competition, People's Artist Thanh Lam and singer Ali Hoang Duong had to work with the children to tie a plastic cup to their feet, then put a ping pong ball in it and move through obstacles.
The female artist enthusiastically participated in the challenges.
This challenge is quite difficult because everyone will have to cross the seesaw bridge in heavy rain, mud sticking to the bridge surface makes it slippery and difficult to walk. However, People's Artist Thanh Lam is still determined to take on the challenge: "We have to accept it, we have to brave the rain to do it for the children, for a future generation."
To bring the most balls to the finish line, the female artist even took off her sandals and ran barefoot to run faster. With the enthusiastic support of two guest artists, through the challenges, three disadvantaged families in the program brought home a total prize value of 85 million VND and many meaningful gifts.
In particular, People's Artist Thanh Lam and Ali Hoang Duong also took money out of their own pockets to give to the families to help them cover their living expenses.
