From January 16th to 17th, the 32nd Naval Squadron, Command of Coast Guard Region 3, in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee, organized the program "Island Tet - Deepening the Bond Between Military and Civilians" to welcome the Year of the Snake 2025 with many practical activities, bringing the Tet atmosphere to the people in the coastal region.

Accordingly, the delegation laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs of Ninh Thuan province; visited and extended New Year greetings to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City; and presented gifts to two families receiving preferential treatment. The highlight was the rice cake wrapping competition between three units: Naval Squadron 32, the People's Committee of Dong Hai Ward, and the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Police. With skillful hands, the units finished the competition by wrapping 250 neat and beautiful rice cakes to give to the local people.

Leaders of the 32nd Naval Squadron, the Command of the 3rd Coast Guard Region, and Phan Rang-Thap Cham City visited the provincial martyrs' cemetery.

On this occasion, the delegation organized cultural exchange events, awarded scholarships to 40 underprivileged students who overcame difficulties, each scholarship worth 500,000 VND; organized a "Zero-Cost Tet Market," through which they donated 102 free shopping vouchers, each worth 1 million VND, to policy beneficiary families and fishermen's families in difficult circumstances. Within the framework of the program, the delegation also presented national flags, distributed handbooks and leaflets on legal awareness, and 20 gift packages to boat owners, captains, and fishermen in the city.

The "Green Sticky Rice Cake Wrapping Contest" was held in Dong Hai Ward, Phan Rang-Thap Cham City.

The "Tet on the Islands - Deepening the Bond Between the Military and the People" program, celebrating the Lunar New Year 2025, was organized by the Vietnam Coast Guard to continue implementing the "Coast Guard Accompanying Fishermen" civilian outreach program; to preserve and promote the cultural identity and positive values ​​of the traditional Lunar New Year; to strengthen the solidarity between the military and the people; to promptly encourage and support disadvantaged people to have a warm and fulfilling Tet; and to awaken patriotism and raise the awareness and responsibility of all levels of the population towards the task of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
