NTO - Program "Island Tet"

From January 16 to 17, Squadron 32, Coast Guard Region 3 Command, in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee, organized the program "Island Tet - warm military-civilian affection" to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025 with many practical activities, bringing the Tet atmosphere to people in coastal areas.

Accordingly, the delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs of Ninh Thuan province; visited and wished a happy new year to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City and presented gifts to 2 families with meritorious services. The most prominent was the banh chung wrapping contest between 3 units: Navy Division 32, Dong Hai Ward People's Committee and Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Police. With their ingenuity, at the end of the contest, the units wrapped 250 square, beautiful banh chung cakes to give to local people.

On this occasion, the Delegation organized a cultural exchange, awarded scholarships to 40 poor students who overcame difficulties, each worth 500,000 VND; organized a "Zero-VND Tet Market", thereby giving away 102 free shopping vouchers, each worth 1 million VND to policy families and fishermen's families in difficult circumstances. Within the framework of the program, the Delegation also presented national flags, distributed notebooks, leaflets on law propaganda and 20 gifts to vehicle owners, captains and fishermen in the city.

The program "Island Tet - strengthening the military-civilian relationship" to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025 was organized by the Vietnam Coast Guard to continue implementing the mass mobilization program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen"; preserve and promote the cultural identity and good values of the traditional national New Year; at the same time, strengthen the solidarity between the military and the people, promptly encourage and support people in difficulty to have a warm and full New Year; arouse patriotism, raise awareness and responsibility of all classes of people for the task of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
