Female Secretary livestreams selling durian with villagers

On August 24, in Ea Knuec commune, the Steering Committee for breakthroughs, science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation of Ea Knuec commune coordinated with related units to organize the program "Female Secretary livestreams selling durian with villagers". Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Knuec commune, together with representatives of the Krong Pac Clean Agriculture Cooperative and Viet Nong Phat Agriculture Company Limited co-chaired and led the live session.

Attending the event were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Science and Technology; Ea Knuec Commune People's Committee, along with the Business Association, cooperatives, and domestic and foreign enterprises. The program was broadcast live on Tiktok and Facebook channels "Dak Lak 4 Seasons Agricultural Products", attracting hundreds of people to attend the durian garden and more than 60,000 interactions on the internet.

With the theme “Fragrant as a promise, sweet as the people’s hearts”, the live session in Ea Knuec commune is considered the first step for the model “Each commune, ward has a KOL” – where commune leaders, farmers and the community become storytellers, promoting specialties and images of their homeland on digital platforms.

The livestream session "Female Secretary livestreams selling durian with villagers" has contributed to affirming the locality's capacity for digital content autonomy, helping farmers be more confident in accessing new markets; bringing technology closer to agricultural production and consumption; contributing to the implementation of the digital economy goal of accounting for 30% of Dak Lak province's GRDP by 2030...

Through 2 livestream sessions, the organizers said they had successfully closed orders for more than 60 tons of durian, both retail and wholesale.

In particular, the brand “Ami Kao Durian – Mother’s Durian” was introduced, associated with the story of the diligence and perseverance of Dak Lak farmers and the message of clean, safe and quality agricultural products.

With the joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government, businesses and people, Dak Lak durian in particular and Dak Lak agricultural products in general will continue to affirm their position and reach out to the domestic and international markets - as a clear demonstration of the power of science and technology and digital transformation in agriculture.
