Female soldiers at Warehouse J112 are "hardworking, enthusiastic, proactive, creative, and meticulous."

This is the assessment of Lieutenant Colonel Dong Van Hien, Chairman of the Trade Union of Warehouse J112, Vehicle and Machinery Department, General Department of Engineering, when speaking about the contributions and performance of duties by two-thirds of the female soldiers in his unit.

Many female comrades are exemplary role models.

Warehouse J112, located in a suburban district of Hanoi, is one of five strategic warehouses under the Vehicle and Machinery Department, General Department of Engineering – Ministry of National Defense. Its function and nhiệm vụ is to receive, manage, and distribute materials, equipment, and vehicles to ensure regular training and combat readiness for units throughout the army.

"Currently, the J112 warehouse has nearly two-thirds of its personnel comprised of female soldiers. We have 10 supply warehouse teams, and 8 out of 10 teams have female soldiers holding the position of team leader (warehouse manager), and all 10 teams have female soldiers holding the position of deputy warehouse manager. In addition, operational teams such as the statistics team, the receiving and distribution team, and the internal warehouse team are also all staffed by women," said Lieutenant Colonel Dong Van Hien, Chairman of the J112 Warehouse Trade Union, happily.

At warehouse J112, many female comrades are exemplary role models, with many good initiatives in performing their duties.

According to the Chairperson of the J112 Warehouse Trade Union, due to the large number of female soldiers in the unit, the unit's mass organizations, including the trade union, have received special attention from the Party Committee and the unit's Command over the years. For example, officers and soldiers are given ample time for study, activities, and meetings to implement the trade union's action program at all levels. They are also given time to organize charitable activities and annual trips for officers and staff.

"With the implementation of gender equality measures in warehouse J112, every officer and soldier is given the opportunity by the Party Committee and the unit's command to develop their abilities and contribute to building the agency and unit. Even though it's a unit with a large number of female soldiers, the 'fair sex' still enjoys preferential treatment over men. Specifically, female soldiers only have duty on days off, with half the time compared to men, and they don't have to work overnight shifts at the unit, allowing them time to care for their families."

The female warehouse manager "loves the warehouse like her own home."

Major Tran Thi Hien, a professional military officer and team leader and warehouse manager of materials warehouse B, J112 Warehouse, has consistently demonstrated her role and sense of responsibility over 25 years of service, ensuring "safety, accuracy, consistency, and meticulousness." For many years, she has been a model of creative and exemplary work within the unit.

Ms. Tran Thi Hien said: "To become a good warehouse manager, first and foremost, you must love the industry, love the profession, and love the warehouse as if it were your own home. Always associate the title 'warehouse manager' with yourself. The warehouse where I manage is always kept clean, fire safety is properly implemented, and the safety of people and goods inside is ensured."

For many years, the warehouse team managed by Ms. Hien has consistently ensured the safety of vehicles and the correct distribution of supplies, earning high praise from the unit's leadership. She always guides her colleagues in adhering to warehouse regulations, maintaining a neat and tidy storage area, and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects, preventing any mistakes or losses of materials. The women actively support each other in their professional work, share their thoughts and aspirations, and encourage each other to build happy family lives.

In addition to her professional duties, Ms. Hien is also an exemplary union member. She actively encourages many women to participate in activities such as: the "promoting initiatives - improving technical skills" movement, the "green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" movement, and the unit's emulation movements for decisive victory.

At warehouse J112, there are many female comrades who are exemplary role models, with many good initiatives in carrying out the unit's tasks.

"Given the specific nature of the trade union within the military, its scope of activities is not as broad as in private businesses. However, Warehouse J112 always coordinates and organizes activities to ensure the rights and interests of military personnel, such as: improving working conditions for teams working in hot and hazardous environments, ensuring standards and benefits for military personnel working in hazardous and dangerous environments. Organizing visits to encourage military personnel who are sick and hospitalized, and families of military personnel who have experienced misfortunes or natural disasters, thereby helping officers and soldiers, especially female military personnel in difficult circumstances, to feel secure in their work and strive to complete all assigned tasks well," shared the Chairman of the Trade Union of Warehouse J112.
