The GeForce RTX 50 Series is designed to deliver a comprehensive improvement in graphics performance, power efficiency, and AI processing. According to Nvidia, the series can deliver up to 8X faster frames thanks to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, which uses AI to generate up to three additional frames for every traditional frame. Additionally, NVIDIA Reflex 2 technology reduces input lag by up to 75%, improving the interactive experience in games that require high response rates.
The RTX 5090, the new laptop flagship GPU, is Nvidia's most powerful consumer graphics chip to date. It packs 92 billion transistors and is capable of processing more than 3,352 trillion AI operations per second. With Blackwell architecture, the RTX 5090's overall performance is twice that of its predecessor, the RTX 4090. In addition, the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 series were also introduced, along with a series of laptops from ASUS, MSI, Razer, Dell, and Acer...

The event also marked the debut of RTX Neural Shaders, a technology that integrates small neural networks into shader programming to create highly detailed lighting, material, and character facial effects in real time. NVIDIA also demonstrated RTX Neural Faces, an AI system that renders digital character faces with greater stability and fidelity. Other new technologies such as RTX Mega Geometry and Neural Radiance Cache also contribute to the realism and performance of in-game scenes.
Nvidia says the RTX 50 Series laptops can deliver up to 40% better power efficiency when gaming and up to 30% better performance when using common tasks like watching videos or surfing the web. Next-generation Max-Q improvements, along with intelligent power management solutions, help extend battery life and reduce system temperatures. The thinnest laptop in the lineup is just 14.9mm thick.

Beyond graphics and gaming, the new lineup also offers powerful support for AI applications running locally on personal computers. Nvidia introduced the RTX AI PC platform with pretrained AI models running through the Nvidia NIM service. These models can serve a variety of purposes, from text generation to computer vision to personal assistants. One of the applications highlighted is AnythingLLM, an open-source tool that helps users integrate AI into everyday software right on their personal computers.
