The American semiconductor giant thrilled investors on February 26th by announcing impressive earnings results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, which ended on January 25th.

Accordingly, the company's revenue reached $68.127 billion, a 73% increase compared to the same period last year and a 20% increase compared to the previous quarter, significantly exceeding the $66.21 billion expected by Wall Street analysts.

In addition, Nvidia's net profit under GAAP standards reached $42.96 billion, equivalent to $1.76 per diluted share, nearly double last year's figure.

The strongest growth driver continues to come from the data center segment, which focuses on accelerated computing infrastructure for AI. Nvidia's revenue in this segment surged to $62.3 billion, a 75% increase year-on-year, accounting for over 91% of the company's total revenue.

These impressive figures were released amidst a backdrop of other tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Meta pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into building "AI factories," leading to a surge in demand for Nvidia's chips and systems.

Billionaire Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of the company, asserts that the demand for computing is growing exponentially as "the inflection point of agentic AI has been reached."

Mr. Huang also emphasized that the next-generation "superchip" Grace Blackwell with Nvidia's NVLink technology is currently the "king of inference" thanks to its massively reduced cost per token, while the next-generation "superchip," Vera Rubin, will further expand its leading advantage.

Major partners from AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure to Oracle have all planned to deploy Nvidia's superchips in the near future.

Besides data centers, other segments of Nvidia also recorded positive signals. The professional visualization segment experienced explosive growth of 159% in the quarter, while automotive and robotics continued to expand thanks to autonomous driving and robotics platforms.

The company also announced a series of strategic partnerships with Meta, Anthropic, CoreWeave, and new open systems such as Nemotron 3 and Earth-2, aiming to strengthen its leading position in the industry.

For the entire fiscal year 2026, Nvidia achieved record revenue of $215.9 billion, a 65% increase over the previous year, with net profit reaching $120.067 billion. The company spent $41.1 billion on share buybacks and dividend payments to shareholders, and had $58.5 billion remaining in its buyback program.

Gross profit margins remained at a record high of 75% in the fourth quarter, demonstrating the company's continued superior performance despite its significant business expansion.

Following this positive news, Nvidia's NVDA stock rose approximately 2.5-3% in after-hours trading on the Nasdaq. Although the current valuation remains high with a P/E ratio of around 48 times, analysts maintain a strong buy recommendation due to the long-term prospects of AI.

These business results not only affirm the strong vitality of the AI wave but also somewhat dispel concerns about a technology "bubble." With the upcoming GTC 2026 event and a series of new products about to be launched, Nvidia continues to be seen as a symbol of the global digital transformation.
