Representatives from OCB andFPT Group signed an agreement to implement the Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer solution.
Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaC@C) is known to be the most advanced database platform solution in the world . Its advantages include being located directly in the customer's data center, shortening deployment time, offering flexible resource usage, high performance, ensuring data security, and complying with the stringent standards of many organizations. In addition, the Oracle 23ai database integrated into ExaC@C simplifies the use of AI, enabling rapid application of AI to data analysis and automating IT system management and operations. OCB has chosen this solution to build its core platform for the bank's management and operations. This solution not only modernizes OCB's centralized data reporting and analysis system but also supports its data-driven business strategy, optimizing its ability to analyze, predict, and make decisions quickly and effectively. “Currently, OCB has a very large customer portfolio, while much of the data is still scattered across different business departments. Therefore, we have partnered with FPT Group to implement a project to modernize our data analytics platform based on advanced Oracle technology. With this project, OCB aims to centralize data into a single source for full-process data analysis, helping OCB better understand the market and customer needs, improve risk management capabilities, and increase competitiveness based on data. Currently, this is also the pioneering project in Vietnam to implement the ExaC@C solution integrating the latest 23ai version of cloud database services. Previously, OCB and FPT have also collaborated on a series of key technology projects such as: deploying Human Resource Management Software and awarding PCI DSS certification for payment card information security to OCB. This helps OCB improve human resource management and related processes such as recruitment, training, and termination. Simultaneously, the software also supports timekeeping and payroll calculation easily and efficiently, enhancing the capabilities of card services to meet international security standards.
